Some updates during my busy internship..

Pre-Departure Dinner

After so long, finally met up with the C160 guys for dinner! It's actually a pre-departure dinner for Jiabao, Wei Chuan and Gerald (Who did not come that day =.=) before they go to Japan for internship.

After waiting for Jiabao, we settled at Empire State @ Iluma Bugis. Had their "big portion" meatballs spaghetti which turned out to be so small! Lol.

Good luck in Japan! :) Don't always camp at neoprint shop take photos hor! LOL.

Dan's Birthday

Went to Zhen Fa @ Novena for dinner that day. It's his 19th birthday. :D
Wanted to give Dan a surprise but he doesn't seem to when he saw the cake. Haha!

After that, took bus and went back to TPY Hub.
Walked back home and chit chatted with them. :)

Ok, today's work was great! Managed to leave on time without OT.
I've been OTing for 3 days this week! :(

KPMG

It's almost one month since my last update. Been really busy with my work @ KPMG! Still trying to get used to the working life I'm having now. Haha!

Anyway, went for an event by KPMG yesterday. We went to West Coast together with the old folks from Lions Befriender. Played some games and walked around with them. The old folks are very friendly and nice. Might be going back to volunteer if I've the time! :D

End of Asian Youth Games 2009

Had great fun volunteering at the AYG2009. Seriously no regrets after joining the event.
The people there are friendly and nice. And the food provided are great too! :x

Was tasked to station at the Media Room for IT Support. There are many people from different media in Asia like Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and many more. But seldom have cases for us to handle. HAHA!

As you know, there was a Closing Ceremony for the AYG. Therefore, I took my camera along that day! :D

First thing that came to my mind when I reached the hotel was to take photos! LOL.

So went to the Convention Hall where the Closing Ceremony was held, there were some rehearsal going on.
Took this opportunity to take photos! HAHA! In case we can't go in when the Closing Ceremony starts!

After that, we went back to our support desk to do our work. And was about to reach the desk, we (Aaron and me) saw all the IT Workforce and Volunteers taking photo!

So we quickly joined them for group photos. (I still haven't got the full IT Support Team photos yet).

After that, went to the Media Room to see see. I was seating at the usual place doing the daily equipment check. THEN SUDDENLY, I SAW JADE SEAH WALKING PASS! O_O

Wanted to take photo with her lah. But in the end never cause don't dare to ask. LOL.

After that, went to walk around and saw her interviewing people!

I saw her in many places la, seriously.

After that, we had our dinner at IntroBar..

Went to see the Closing Ceremony after dinner. Took lots of photo inside the Closing Ceremony Hall.

And we saw the Table Tennis Gold Medalist from China! Managed to take photo with her! :D

After that, saw Jade Seah again! LOL. (I swear I didn't follow her!) This time, she was interviewing Quah Ting Wen!

When I was busy taking photos of the Closing Ceremony, someone came (i think one of the AYG organizer) invited us to their table to eat! O_O

Like so random lah, we were there just to take photos only. LOL. At first we told them we had our dinner already but they insisted that we have some food. ~___~

Imagine you were sitting there with the AYG Athletics, Sponsors, VIP sitting at the next table. =.=

Oh ya, Jade Seah was sitting 2 tables away from me! LOL. =x

Overall, volunteering at AYG was really a great experience for me! :)

Internship

My internship is confirmed at KPMG Singapore! Will start working on 13th July!
And I'm going to start getting all my formal wear for work. Maybe tomorrow?

Oh ya, I changed my phone to Nokia E66! :D

After so many year of Sony Ericsson phones, I'm struggling to use the Nokia phone! ~___~

Think have to try to get used to it. I'm still trying the new features of the phone like the Messenger Live and etc.. :D

AYG and Night Security Guard

Asian Youth Games

Some of you might already know, I've been helping out in the Asian Youth Games since last Thursday in the IT Department at Swissotel (Games Village). We are responsible for all the machines like the notebooks and servers by making sure that they are all working properly.

Security Night Guard

Worked as Night Guard in Suntec for Saturday and Sunday from 12am to 7am. Saturday was a disaster, was suppose to be guarding their stuffs at the booths but ended up as a manual labour. Helped them move their goods here and there around Suntec and their stuffs are freaking heavy lah!

There was this lady who keep commanding us move this and that WHEN we are not suppose to do all those work. AND she didn't even thank us for helping and acted like we're suppose to do all these. ARGH.

Sunday was far much better than Saturday! Stationed at one of their booth and use my notebook to study for TAIN Test.

Oh ya, they gave us walkie-talkie to use and we really make "full use" of it by crapping around with each other and playing music through the walkie-talkie! =x

Handed the booth over to their staffs at around 11am and went back home.

PC Show 2009

Went there with Joshua, Sam and Christopher yesterday at around 7pm.

Wanted to buy Hard Disk and Memory RAM from PC Show. Heheh..

Went there and it was so crowded!

Oh ya, I bought a Seagate FreeAgent GO Hard Disk! Muahahha, always wanted to buy but didn't.

I think it's quite worth it cause normally 320GB cost more than that!

Joshua bought his iPod Touch 16GB too! And he got a free speaker lah! OMG. How come that time I buy don't have this kind of deal! T.T But nvm, the brand like wulu wulu one. =x

Ok, talking about today. Spent my whole day sleeping at home. LOL!

Oh ya, I almost got hit by a bag of curry when I was buying my dinner just now! Someone just threw it down from their window! Then I looked up and didn't see anyone. == I swear I'm going to call police when I see that guy!

Anyway, just finished K.O.3anGuo Episode 16! Muahaha!

At first I thought that drama is kinda lame but after I continue from where I stopped, I'm so addicted to it now! And I was so surprised to see Jiro Wang in Episode 14 & 15. O_O
